This has been my ultimate go to recipe when I want something full of flavour but doesn't require a million ingredients. Like the title says, it's basic ingredients but not so basic flavours! I could literally eat this every single day!
You can substitute it for just boneless skinless chicken breasts but I love air frying with skin and bones because the skin gets super crispy and the bones keeps the chicken super moist.
I usually get my bone-in skin-on chicken breasts from TruLocal
I love that they source everything locally and you can opt for grass-fed and pasture raised proteins. You can use code: FITCHICKSCOOK10 for $25 off your first regular size box!
Not Your Basic Air Fryer Chicken
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
4 TruLocal bone-in skin-on chicken breast
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp coconut aminos (soy substitute)
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp paprika (or more if you like extra like me)
Directions:
In a large bowl, add all of the ingredients and mix until the chicken is well covered.
Let marinade in the fridge overnight or at least 2 hours.
Air fry at 360 degrees for 20 mins. I use a Ninja air fryer.
If you don't have an air fryer, you can also bake in the oven for about 35-40 mins at 400 degrees.
Enjoy with your favourite sides!
